For WYSE Travel Confederation, I was responsible for the full planning process of the World Youth & Student Travel Conference (WYSTC 2022) in Lisbon, Portugal. This conference was attended by 430 youth travel industry professionals from all over the world.
I was in charge of the design of the full trade floor with exhibition stands, sourcing, contracting & handling of the hotels and venues for the welcome reception as well as the Global Youth Travel Awards gala dinner, among other logistics needed for organizing a complex conference like WYSTC. I handled delegate registration, catering, A/V, security, and ground transportation. I prepared the ‘minute-to-minute’ running sheet for the event, so all parties involved knew exactly what was happening when, where, and by whom. This way, the WYSE Events team was able to deliver an excellent conference, with very positive feedback from the delegates as a result.
